I’m very happy to see these issues have been addressed, with the proposal to re-enable optimistic rebalancing on NEOCLOUD following Reserve’s standard governance flow. This proposal has now completed its IP stage and been enacted onchain.
However, the second proposed improvement is yet to be addressed. We have seen no official comment from the team on this post regarding the use of ENS domains. I think this is worth restating, particularly as two further IPs have gone live this week without RFC stages, posted by the team from unmarked wallets. In the context of the recent governance attacks, this has left governors uncertain about the legitimacy of these proposals and highlights the need for a simple, consistent way to verify official proposer wallets.
I’ve raised this previously without any change to the team’s internal operating procedures. Given the recent governance attacks, I wonder if addressing this, alongside my previous comments on Governance Alerts, should now be considered a priority.
