gm, quick update on how this RFC will progress through January.
ABC Labs plan to upgrade the protocol to v4.2.0 in the coming weeks. This release introduces mutable mandates to the Yield Protocol, which aligns with this RFC and enables the ETHplus mandate update and formal DTF methodology ratification to occur cleanly in a single onchain vote.
ETHplus will not migrate to v4.2.0 automatically. A separate proposal to upgrade the protocol version must first pass through the standard governance process, which slightly extends the timeline for this RFC. On that basis, I now expect we will be ready to graduate this RFC to an onchain vote at the end of January.
To ensure we can move quickly once ETHplus has migrated to v4.2.0, I have summarised the proposed changes in the tables below and included a poll to gauge community sentiment. Due to technical issues, this poll was not included in the original post.
