Thank you for picking up on the ambiguity of governance type @R72, I should have made this clearer in the original post. You are correct that the focus of this proposal is Basket Governance. I will amend the title of the RFC to make it explicit.
I agree with everyones analysis on the governance attack vectors and that the larger ones are already well protected in terms of the length of the governance process.
Given the balancing act between preventing an exploit of this smaller attack vector and maintaining agility during basket rebalances it was deemed 24h/24h/24h was sufficient instead of aligning it with CMC20’s other governance types.
Given the support for this proposal both in the comments and the poll, I will proceed with graduating this proposal to IP early next week.
