If the yield of any yield bearing token were to drop to 0% then it would make sense that users would exit. But the addition of OETH to dgnETH would not make the yield drop to 0%. If OETH did not belong within dgnETH, then I believe the Reserve core team/ABC Labs would not have stated their support for adding OETH to dgnETH on the ETH+ proposal.
The new Curve pool is live and can be seen on the Curve protocol here. A few voters are still voting on the old pool, but the new pool has been receiving votes and the enhancements of it are already taking effect on the OETH yield - you can see from the OETH analytics page that the OETH yield has increased to a rate higher than the current Morpho rate displayed on the Reserve website (on Morpho itself it is showing 2.51%) - therefore I will be proposing a new basket that keeps Convex the same as it currently is, but replaces Morpho with wOETH:
Token | Allocation | APY = 4.48% |
---|---|---|
Morpho | 0% | 3.01% |
Convex | 75% | 4.78% |
wOETH | 25% | 3.71% |
sdgnETH | - | 7.258% |
Diversification ratio: unchanged
