Abstract

I started my Journey in the Reserve Ecosystem with hyUSD on Mainnet back in Q1 of 2023. There have been many learnings and lots of ups and downs throughout this Journey. Even though I have enjoyed my time, all good things come to an end and I see it as the best time to move on.

Problem Statement

One of the big problems in the Reserve Ecosystem is governance. A tough nut to crack, how do you efficiently design a system and that can come to consensus across several mini daos? Ultimately, I was not able to help come up with a solution that would satisfy what others were looking for.

Rationale

I was not able to Champion in a constructive way that led to the growth and flourishment of the ecosystem. I appreciated having the opportunity to work on governance and comms within the ecosystem. I hope a more constructive governing body can form in response to this change.

Thank you for all your work and collaboration over the years @Sawyer.

I’ve just posted a Revenue Share Programme Update for eUSD that realigns the Revenue Share with balances held. It also reflects your transition away from the champion allocation with revenue redirected back to RSR stakers.

If it’s all good with you i’ll move the proposal onchain on Sunday. Happy for you to bring the remaining proposals onchain in whatever order or timing you think makes sense.
